SCOTTISH CENTRAL GETS THE GREEN LIGHT.

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Hi Just add to Micks map Edinburgh has 3 Stations, they are Edinburgh Waverly,Edinburgh Haymarket, and Edinburgh Princes Street (LMS),the later closed mid 1960s,Glasgow has 2 stations,Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street.

The line from Princes Street ran to Glasgow Central via Shotts, there was a junction along the line where the route to Carstairs diverged,it's included on the route but only goes a short distance.

It took a long time to install but it's worth it. Just had a run out of Glasgow with Mick's excellent Coronation and the route is superb - very well done to all concerned. :D

I am sure everyone will be happy with it. My installation tests earlier in the week were successful and from what I have seen of it it an excellent route.

Not entirely sure but I think the first DVD shipments will be Tuesday on the normal schedule. Pete is at the Ally Pally show this weekend so there will probably be a few orders piled up when he gets home on Sunday night.
Kindest regards

Hi,

I think we worked it out that there is nearly 400 route miles to travel in it,by the time you use the secondary routes, like the Fife Circle, the 2 routes from Edinburgh to Glasgow and Glasgow to Perth via Stirling, the Gresley coaches even have their numbers starting with scxxxx on them.

Hi All

Make sure that you have all of the default routes installed to your normal MSTS installation before installing.

There are many files which will need to be copied from your main installation as part of the mini-route installation.

If you make sure you do this,

SCP will run "Straight out of the box"

Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I posted on here because I sadly lost my wife just after the New Year. She had a stroke just before Christmas and due to her other complications as a type 1 diabetic, she contacted a virus whilst in hospital and from this she never recovered. I am slowly getting over her loss and hope to get back to normal again soon.

On a much lighter note, Scottish Central Plus is now finally available and I would just like to thank all those concerned in making this happen. It has been a long time in the making and I hope that those of you who purchase a copy of the DVD will enjoy what this route has to offer. Please feel free to make more activities for this route if you feel that you can do some for it, but please stick to the stock which comes with the route which will avoid any additional items to be downloaded. Some of you may want to do a modern image activity for this route, but this will mean having to download extra items of stock from what is available for download. But whatever you decide, I hope that you will enjoy running this route. Whether it will be expanded on is not certain as of yet, but there are plety of route miles to keep you busy for a long time yet, before adding any more to this route, if it should happen in the future.

Please accept my condolences, and I hope that though train simulation you might be able to fill a small portion of the void that your loss will have created.

All the very best, Alec
