Hi there,

Modern diesel liveries don't normally do much for me,

You would have heard that class 20 a few miles off, especially with five speakers on the front!

Daryn said it didn't look right, I'd been fudging some files, now all sorted, hopefully. :D

Ok now thats just teasing!

The sides look great, but there is something very wrong with the front, though I can't quite put my finger on it. :-?

Matt C
MT already do a 156 and the SPT livery is included in one of the livery packs.

Headcode box a little too high maybe. The thing that caught my eye was that 37401 has no name - I thought that one was Mary Queen of Scots.

I think it looks like a cracking stock pack. One I would definately have. Two things for me - Would be nice to see the pair of 26s that were painted green and also my favourite 47, 47712 Lady Di - Would love MT to do that one.

Yep your right. I thought it was named straight away but it did run for about 4 months without a name.

Have to say I am looking forward to this one as I worked on many of these locos in the 80's and 90's. I also have to say that there is a screen shot and video of a rake of IC coaches with a mk 3 buffet on an Aberdeen express, which as far as I am aware never happened in real life on a regular service, as the only IC stock came from West coast services that did not go via Queen street, and did not include MK3 Buffets. These did work on some IC services to Inverness from the West coast, in fact on one occasion I worked the empty stock from Inverness to Aberdeen for a special back to Inverness the next day. If you are looking for interesting activities I can recall one occasion when a Scotrail liveried Push-Pull set arrived at Aberdeen with 2 25's in charge 25 226 & 228 if I remember correctly, they took the train back to Glasow. The 47/7 had failed and been detached down south, the set arrived around Mid-day if I remember correctly, probably have a note of it somewhere. I am also aware that on at least one occasion a 37 substituted for a 47/7, but I cannot recall the specific loco invlved. It was not a 37/4 though.
