Brilliant - that is all very recognisable. Its a pity that the goods yard at Garforth is now a car park.
Alan

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Hi Barrie

The screenshots are from Mid East Plus (MEP) which is a very large revision and update of the original Mid East route. You will find several references to this route on the forums if you search them out..........most references being of the "is it nearly ready yet?" sort

The MEP DVD Package is now entering the final straight, so to speak, however proper testing and putting together a route of this size will probably take months rather than weeks so there still is a bit longer to wait. (There are people far cleverer than me from the MEP team and UKTS working on this aspect of the project at the moment).

As for the era then the route is definitely based in the 70s to 80s however there are a great many things included in the package that both pre and post date this time. For example you will easily be able to run both steam and modern day diesels on the route without it looking too odd.

Will the 124 be included on the DVD? Not that that will influence my desire to aquire! Mind you the savings mug wont be able to cope with this and North Wales! Must persuade somebody to employ me!!!!

very similar to the class 303 emu. Am I right in thinking there is a class 124 on Thames-Mersey DVD? I am sure I have seen it before during an activity.

Tim Court's original Trans Pennine units have been around for a long time. I think they were in TM but they definately were in Yorkshire Coast. This is a later version by Tim and as far as I know exclusive to MEP. Dave.

Hi
Yes its Tim's later version of the Class 124 .... it used to be on UKTS, but was withdrawn.
I keep meaning to re-upload it, as Tim gave permission ages ago (unless some else has the time).
I think we have recently had a influx of new MSTS users, who haven't seen it before.
Understandably with the quality of textures, its amazing how old it is.
I believe there is a nice green version, which will be exclusive to the MEP DVD.
Cheers
Jon
