Isle of Man Railways

Just a quick taster of something Dave Martin (rwacey) and I have been working on over the last few months. The much loved Isle of Man Railways as it was back in the 1960's with the full working system of about 46 route miles. These are a few shots from the Peel line, all very WIP at the moment with more from the lines to Port Erin, Ramsey and Foxdale to come soon.

Running through the Manx countryside we see No.8 Fenella with a two coach train for Peel

A view across the yard at St Johns reveals a rake of semi derelict 6 wheel Cleminson coaches on road 4 behind St Johns carriage shed, formerly from the Manx Northern Railway

And before our train arrives into Peel, we see sister engine No.6 Peveril ready to depart on a service back to Douglas.
If you enjoyed these there are some more shots in the Narrow Gauge forum....
Cheers
