thanks Jon.
I rather like these locos, bit of a handful without any dynamic braking though!

Is that track texture available separately anywhere? I have thought of other routes I could use it for.

PS: You're not supposed to drive a crocodile on the Bernina, wrong voltage, and the wheelbase is too long.

I downloaded & installed the route, and all I can say is 'excellent', its highly detailed, has good sounds (I especily like the flange squeel). But I assume its still a WIP, judging by the two ends of the line and the lack of scenery?
Alex, the track system isnt standard track, nor is it X-Tracks as far as I'm aware (I could be wrong here), but there are two track textures, theres what you see in the shots, and in the sidings theres white balasted track with darker sleepers, I dunno if you can export the textures onto other routes, I'll have a look tommorow and see whats the deal.

I think a special tsection.dat is used for these tracks. This is the reason why the route is installed in a separate folder as a "mini-route".
The route is still WIP according to the author. It still missed winter textures, but i don't know about the scenery around the ends of the line.

Hi there,
did you find after installing "Bernina" or "Arosa", you had to re-install the Bin Patch. The installation of either route over-writes the train-exe file.
Excellent routes though

Hi Mickrik,
No I had no problem with BIN patch after installing Bernina, all still works OK. I am still using an earlier BIN though (1.7.0103) don't know if that makes any difference.
Regards,
Andy

I think you mean the commercial versions from sim-train.ch
I've had the same problem. It partially re-writes the train-exe file, so the memory fix is lost. Am I correct?

Yes
I did not realise a freeware version had been made.
