I've been keen on this route ever since I got to test an early version of it and some of the stock, and I keep getting impressed as it gets closer to completion.

I take it you mean Grangemouth.

I only worked this train a few times before Bishopbriggs oil depot closed to rail but I'm sure it used 4 wheel tanks.

Loads travelled via Cumbernauld and Springburn to avoid running round.

What class DMU is in this pic? Looks like a 101 from the side but front is from something else.

It's Scottish region class 107.

Basically the same as a 108 but runs on Irn Bru.
