Shunting the Motorail at Newton Abbot, the stuff of dreams.... organising the St Erth to Kensington Milk in the late afternoon sun, depositing some steaming mark 1s in the carriage sidings at Laira, lifting a massive stone train out of Merehead or a short Ballast working from Stoneycombe. It would be my perfect route.
Heres something else I've had tucked away for a couple of years, awaiting some track re-alignment...............

Needs a lot doing to make it useable but maybe one day....

Dave.
Jon, I'll e-mail the files to you tomorrow.

HI Jon.

I've just got around to downloading these and I've got to say that I think they're amongst your best work to date :D

Just taken D1005 and 25101 along with some nice rusty BATS 16TMVC's for a trip along the Cambrian :P Couldn't resist stopping at each station and then pulling away again just to listen to the noise!!!

Thank you :)

Gary.

Hi Gary
Small world..........I only thought of you yesterday( thought you'd gone to the darkside with ab  )....... while driving your 50006 through Paignton.
Yes I rather like the 'double engine' sound too. :P

delticcity wrote:You can have these if you're interested Jon. The depot sits on the existing track layout to the West of Penzance, wrong place for Long Rock I know but I like it. The North Road office block sits nicely in the car park at the station. The road bridge at Saltash is a re-sized bridge from the library but I think it looks the part. PM me if you could use them.

Dave.
Hi
Thanks Dave........I've PM'd you my email address.
Long Rock is another great place. :P
Unfortunately P2P trackwork isn't accurate for 60s/70s......... but its still brilliant.
My delves into RE are not good......... but I wanted to shunt Motorails at Newton Abbot and down to the carriage sidings at Goodrington.
There hasn't been any updates to P2P for a couple of years so I'm guessing the route is unfortunately abandoned ?
Cheers
Jon
Hi Dave
Finally plucked up courage to try adding to track work.
Seems to have gone OK, so hopefully be able to have a service shed somewhere in vicinity of Long Rock.
Would like to know where you got that depot/shed model ?
Cheers

Hi Jon, the Long Rock MPD model is one of mine, as is the Plymouth 'Intercity House' office block. I would like to add the trackwork for Long Rock aswell. Please let me know how you get on. Cheers, Dave.

Hi Dave
It looks an excellent model :P .......will you still email it to me?.
The additions to the track work seem to have gone OK.........I didn't want to get too close to Marazion.
Got a two road depot , and the single barrier crossing in.
Now just trying to get a small carriage yard in........but finding difficulty in adding a left hand curve....as all the curves seem to be right handed.
Cheers

Hi Jon, something must have gone astray, I sent the Long Rock depot, the Plymouth office block, and the re-sized Saltash road bridge the day after you PM'd me. I'll re-send tomorrow. Sorry about that. Dave.

PS Sent it via yousendit Jon. The zip is 8MB and will be available for 7 days for download.

I've just checked, it was 2 years and 1 month ago. :o And the source file is now missing, probably deleted, so I will be starting from scratch which might not be a bad thing. Dave.
