Technically, you're possibly right Dave, but are we not getting into the realms of rivet-counting here? C'mon, have a heart - let's appreciate the talents of the model maker (Reg), sound-creator (Chris) and screen-grabber (Jon) for what they are, eh? It certainly took me back and I think these shots are brilliant!:D

Re: MayBach Mayhem
Hi Dave
I do think the bin patch manages to alter the pitch slightly for each of the different locos.
I agree they don't work perfectly because Chris has cleverly simulated the hydraulic engines changing up and down, and msts sounds then go through sequence quite slowly, so you do get some lag in stations with engines racing for a while........but it sounds great to me flat out.
I also like to see extra clag on leaving the stations.
I think the ones for the MAN engined Warships (from lastyear) worked a bit better as their sms files were written round the throttle/frequency settings method.
Also I've found msts doesn't really seem to like high speed diesel engines, and hydraulic gearboxes of course don't work properly.
Having said all that, AFAIK none of the currently available sims can do any of this any better.......so it works for me.......and brings back happy memories.
Cheers
Jon
Edit....... thought I'd try to see what a full yellow would look like.

Edit2 and a quick video
