I'm not so sure; compare them to Chris Iveson's (Rather good) 'O' gauge model. They do stick out a long way.

On second thoughts, maybe I should shave a couple of inches off the diameter. Then I'll get around to releasing it!

Buffers definately look like they come too far out.

There comes a time when one has to stop tinkering and bite the bullet: such a time has come:

Yes, but be aware, I am currently upgrading the model based on feedback I am receiving from the Mideast Plus guys and the units I am building for them.

Jon I seem to remember that some time ago you had some nice green first generation DMUs of your own under development. Whatever happened to those ?

Regards David

PS Great screenshots by the way :D

Hi
I'm afraid they became unfinished projects.
The 123/126 were based on TimCs excellent 124, which required a few shape alterations.
The Class 120 looks a little crude in todays MSTS standard, and was based on the original DMU I believe by James Hunt, so might be difficult to obtain permissions.......although I might give it a go.
Jason Clarke was building a very nice class 120 at one time.
Personally I'd really love to see a class 114 Derby heavyweight set, as these were Lincoln based.
Cheers
Jon

Here are a few shots of a DMCL-DMBS twin Power set I am working on, primarily for Mid East Plus, but later for general release too. It is in an experimental early rail blue livery, with only partial yellow ends. As you can see, I've added a lot more detail to the ends, with jumper connections, brake pipes, headlamps and improved buffers all evident. There are a few improvements under the hood too, with a slightly increased acceleration from standing (Corrected the weight of the unit, the original was far too heavy. These additions will be carried over to the existing single car unit in good time.

I think I'll make the front windows just a smidgen taller, and that should be it sorted then.

Hi Chris
They look brilliant........I'm a big fan of early BR blue.
Do the doors still operate ?.........I rather liked that little nice touch.

Just a quick note: The updated versions are in the system awaiting approval. They will overwrite the old versions, but not change any filenames.
