I have been making activities and taking screenshots, but they all want to save as BMP's so i change there names so they are JPG's, try to load them on to the Photo Album from Atomic Systems and they keep telling me there the wrong file type. How can I make my Screen Shots defult to JPG?? Prob a very simple answer.
Please Help

Re: Microsoft Print Screens
HI there,
I use the software that was supplied with my digital camera. If I open the software, Edit and paste my screenshot onto the software viewscreen and I then ask it to "save as" a .jpeg file.
Keep the picture title short or the atomic photo album may not recognise it
simple as that

As I said, Probably a very simple answer. I did that first with MS Paint and it canged all the colours and made it look rubbish. Its sorted nowmickrik wrote:HI there,

Re: Microsoft Print Screens
You can't just rename a .bmp file as a .jpg. You have to convert the file from the bitmap format to the jpeg format.
This can easily be done using Microsoft Paint:
1) Load the .bmp file
2) Use the "Save As" and change the file type to jpeg.

Re: Microsoft Print Screens
the easy way of doing it is downloading a piece of software called infranview.
if you then go into your trainsim file you should then be able to see a bunch of pcx files, these are all your screenshots youv'e taken in the past xxx if you then open one of these and select batch conversion/move (hotkey b) then a window opens

Click the image to zoom in

Re: Microsoft Print Screens
Use IrfanView. It saves msts screenshots straight into jpeg amongst many other things. Open a pcx file and save it as jpeg. Simple.
