Strap on that 500mm lens...

Post by jashton »

I just downloaded klwcam.zip from trainsim.com. It is totally "in your face" but some of the effects are pretty striking!

It's free from trainsim.com if you can get on during a quiet time. Don't know where else it might be available.

http://www.train-sim.com/login.htm
That's their link page. You'll have to register and get a password. After that it takes only slightly less than forever to login. Plan on getting everything you want at once. I think the file in question is in the Utilities
section, maybe Misc. It's a Splitter product. Every time I tried to d/l, the link was broken. I had to get it from a friend. There's also a thread over there. Try a search on "camcfg".

Good Luck

Yes, I posted info on this several days ago.

Why not read existing threads & add to them?

Follow the URL given by goingnorth.

It's a topic - kwlcam - better screenshots possible.

Read the URL from goingnorth - for those who can't get through to the other place. The file's not necessary, it's easy to edit the camcfg.dat file.

You ought to get better fps - it's a telephoto (i.e. narrower) view so fewer objects are being drawn on-screen.
