Barmouth Shrewsbury Diversion

Post by codrivermike »

Due to a landslip between Talerddig and Carno, services to Shrewsbury are being diverted onto the Barmouth, Ruabon line.

You can feel the bridge shake beneath your feet

Today we take the Ruabon road.

The pub at Penmaenpool is still there, sadly devoid of trains.

Funny thing about this thread is that the screenshots are instantly recognisable, even though I'm too young to remember the Barmouth Junction to Ruabon line, from driving on Bala Hub!
