Can I ask, has the route on Cambrian 1 from Dovey to Barmouth and beyond been changed/updated, or has just the new bit to Shrewsbury been bolted on?

And what stock is going to be included? Is it steam or diesel?

Must say though, it looks great!

This exciting route features approximately 200 miles of track, branchlines, and spurs. And the route runs through some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK.

2 Dukedog, 2 GWR, and BR steam trainsets with day and night custom cabviews and new custom sounds.

3 GWR and 3 BR Prarie 4500 and 4475 steam trainsets with day and night custom cabviews and new custom sounds.

12 GWR Mogul steam trainsets including early and later versions with day and night custom cabviews and new custom sounds.

4 GWR Manors steam trainsets with day and night custom cabviews and new custom sounds.

AI versions of most of the locomotives included as well.

New custom rolling stock including GWR local and long distance carriages, ex LMS carriages, and BR MK1 carriages in a variety of liveries. And also many assorted freight wagons.

20 activities featuring the GWR era from/to Portmadoc between 1935 and 1939.

Price: $48.95 (USD) includes free global shipping.

A simple link to the website like this http://www.3dtrainstuff.com/products/uk ... rian2.html would do, instead of filling the screenshot forum with Unnecessary text.

That's Jon's choice though Martin - although you may have chosen to post the information differently, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. :D

The short answer is that it has almost all changed. Some of the track between Dovey Junction and Fairbourne was left as it was along with much of the track on the Aberystwyth line beyond Borth, but almost everything else was ripped out and started again. There were two reasons for this:
1. We've added extra sidings and platforms at quite a few of the stations to give a 1960s track layout.
2. If you look at the cab ride videos for the route and compare with Cambrian 1, you'll see that the track alignment was wrong in many places. The bit that I noticed the most was between Talsarnau and Harlech that should be dead straight for several miles, whereas on Cambrian 1, the track wandered all over the show. To achieve the correct track alignment here, I actually had to move Harlech station and castle about 50 metres towards the sea!

Even where the track and roads have remained the same, most of the route objects have been replaced or at least re-positioned. We've added lots of new models that weren't available when the original route was built (e.g. the Corfe Castle stone houses off the Swanage route and new road vehicles) and lots of extra detail.

Beyond Machynlleth, the route runs to Shrewsbury and Oswestry and includes branch lines to Kerry, Llangynog and Llanfyllin.
