Cracking repaints - but could I recommend Paul Mitchell's 25 as a base? IMO, its much more authentic shapewise for a 25

Thanks.......funnily enough I was looking at those lastnight.......and they are excellent shapes, recessed doors and handrails, revolving rad fan etc.
Done too much on these now to start again (about 25 hours).... but I might ask Paul in the future.

Hmm, just looked at Paul's model - one that never caught on but one that would look fantastic once you've applied your skills to it JB! Mark Shipman's model always showed too much daylight underneath the loco (look between and underneath the buffer-beam) and for some strange reason this has always bugged me.

The reskins are looking great
it got me looking trough my old spotting books 1980-1981
I saw in Exeter /Newton Abbot and Barnstaple Junction
starting with 25052-25057-25058-25080-25155-25169-25207-25215-25216-25217-25219-25223-25224-25225-25276-25288-25326 and at Newton Abbot 24054 or ABD968008 as she was the only Class 24
I ever saw in BR days.
I have pics of all these locos in Devon

The upload will include 25052,25155 25223 and 25221 as an AI.
If you have any full side on views it would be appreciated (as I can't do weathered).
I would also like to do an early version (with doors), but haven't managed to find a good front end shot.
Once they are uploaded, anyone's more than welcome to do number swop's.

Nice shots!!! I take it there all class 25s? Never noticed untill now that some have more vents on the side than others, whats the reason?

Cheers jon that explanes how i was confused! The early cl25s had almost identical bodys to the cl24s appart from the roof head cone board.
