Trainz cab shots

Post by Mike10 »

Someone asked for cab shots in the Trainz screenshot thread. Since none were forthcoming I thought I'd do a few.

I've started a new thread rather than add them into the rather long general Trainz screenshot thread.

Mike.

That 170 cab is very nice but some of the cabshots really do let the model down. Nice shots all the same!

I like the 3d effect on the steam cabs.... I also think that Trainz passenger views are better than MSTS ones

I don't think that's entirely fair. It's very different to MSTS, that's for certain, so I think most people seem to be drawn to either one or the other. Those looking to be able to create small, very high detailed routes then it's got one over MSTS for the RE isn't as friendly as Surveyor. On the other hand, if you're into realistically driving then MSTS's physics and the way it handles sounds is much better IMO.
It'll catch on, for now anyway - if KRS or MSTS2 manage to satisfying combine the best features of both then I think they'll have to make some changes in order to keep making sales.
Awaiting a computer that'll run KRS... *twiddles thumbs*

I would contend that with 1/4 million registered users it has caught on.

232326 users seem to be a big number of users that have catched on (taken from Auran Forums)

Mike is it okay for these two screenshots to be shown?

Yeah it has caught on,you'd have to be living under a rock if you dodn't know.
I never really liked the second cab down, that's an Auran model,it's a cross between German and UK cab! But it's lucky we have some great ones, perticularly from Snowsignal's,which is shown most. :)
