AN Class 156 Rescue

Post by desiro5 »

This is my 3rd and final Activity for Airedale. :D

Breifing:

A Class 156 has failed on a Leeds to Carlisle Service.

You job today is to rescue it. Yesterday a Class 91 failed on a GNER Service to Bradford and the GNER Class 90 was brought in to rescue it. The Class 90 has been at Bradford, its the ideal rescue locomotive, so its what you will be using. At Skipton, there is a Class 47 ready to take the train on.

Procced to Shipley, where you will pass throught the station, and be routed onto the Ilkley brach. There a reverse point just a the start of the branch. Stop, switch cabs, (press 1 to do this with MSTS Bin enabled) then reverse back over the points to the next reverse point. Then switch cabs agan and procced wrong line toward the failed train. You will be notified when getting close. Couple AT NO MORE THAN 3MPH. Then switch cab's again and procced to Shipley Station. Make you station stop, drive awaytoward Skipton, and the activity will end.

Good Luck!

Do you require msts bin to be installed to run this route? Fantastic shots as well, seems like youve put some life into this old route.

Thanks

Oh yeh, have you thought about adding any of your own fictional scenery to this route, just to add a bit of atmosphere to it?

I have used route editor before for placing vehicles and it seems to work ok just as long as you place things on the ground and not 5cm in mid air. Have a read through the manual in the msts editors and tools and this gives you a brief uoline of how to place objects.

Thanks
