everyone is entitled to their own oppintion on which units they like/prefer but i have grown up with the 455 units, spending afternoons after school with my grandparents either at ashtead station, effingham junction, bookham, epsom and the odd occasion at the road side next to effingham sheds/siding watching them go past stopping going in the cabs and talkin to the drivers could have been the reason why i got in to them and like them so much when others don't or could just be coinsidence. the other units that run up and down that line are 508(long ago now), 421, 423, 411 (along with the 455 most common) 319 & 377(limit services) the occasonal 444 & even a 66 and the rail track mpv.

but hey its MSTS so you can run what you like don't let people like me tell you what to run and ruin what you want to drive on that route.

Thats a great insight, made me think and get pictures of it.

Hearing things like that makes me feel happy that others can relate to you.

Hopefully ill see more ppl explain their storys.

The refurbished 455s by SWT are excellent, but the unrefurbs... maybe not.

Dunno, I'm 12 and I have never tried it, but I know a 17 year old who has done it.

Cheers
