Hi Chris,
Thats an unfortunate effect of using DXT Textures I am afraid, its a bit of a trade off with Mip levels and you will see alot of this in KRS when people satrt making 3rd party models for it although if they are using DDS Based you have command of the MIPs right from the Paint program as you do with FSX.
If I used regular texture methods you would lose all that detail, however I am looking at a few ways to sort that so they look a little better from a distance.

"Are they accurate loco hauled mk3s?"
If you mean do they have drawgear and Buffers then yes they do.
If you mean were they done to the right dimensions according to BR drawings - Yes they were - although drawings are not always that accurate as e have been finding out from time to time.

Buffers and drawgear is what I meant. Hmm, opns up some interesting possibilities, especially if the sleeper is done too.....
cheers

Thanks Niall.
I saw your shots the other week...they were great shots.
In fact all your shots, of all the classes have been excellent.
As sparkers go , BR Blue 87s have a special place in my heart........nearly as much as 50s and Deltics.
