A few pictures from my east anglian semi fictional route.

Post by Ghostcav »

Just a few pics taken on my Semi fictional East Anglian route.Started building from Kings Lynn to Ely in 2004 & then got carried away. Route covers Yarmouth/cromer/Lowestoft to Peterborough & up to Doncaster!!!??!! Based loosly on the real places sometimes, other times just built to run trains.

Class 37 leaves Cromer with a speedlink service (Told you it was not all to scale real places!)

Trowse yard Norwich.

47582 leaves a wintery Kings Lynn on a London Liverpool St express.

Wagons in Trowse Yard.

Class 20's wait to depart Trowse yard on a stone train to Great Yarmouth.

Class 31 leaves Trowse yard with wagons for Lowestoft.

Thought I would share a few pictures of it as I wont be able to upload the route due to the amount of borrowed scenery.

I realy hope you can get permision to up load this route, I for one would down load it just for the Peterborough area, going to Ely.

Does the Doncaster part go from Peterborough via Spalding?another way from Peterborough not useing the East Coast Mainline.

Hopefully from the following pics You can gain an Idea of the coverage of my route & how it was never designed to get so big. I built it to remind me of east anglia as I moved away when I was 7,its also built mainly to run trains. A lot of what should be single line has been rebuilt to double track standards due to operation foul ups on single line with MSTS.
A lot of glaring errors will probably be noted with the map regarding names,Jcn locations etc but it does what I wanted it to do. Its still a Beta version with more scenery & general tyding up to be done.

And just to show the distance from almost the furthest two points(Station stop monitor) & to give more location shots a few pics of a BATS Black five leaving a very unrationlised Great Yarmouth (Vauxhall) station with a Doncaster bound charter.
Image
The text is a little small but the distance from My Yarmouth to Doncaster is 147.03 miles & at 75% performance is due in 2hrs & 17mins.The driver & fireman have there work cut out there!
