That looks like "camfig gold" to me. :-?
The FOV ( field of view ), has been increased from 60 to 100 for the cab view to get slightly increased view of your cabs interior.

Not sure whats happened to your front view....you seem to be tilting the wrong way (looking upwards).
I've checked all the cvf files here...and they are all positive (between 14 and 16)....so you should be looking down.

Two things to do Jon if you are going to include other peoples work in your uploads:

1. Make sure you get it right.
2. Seek permission from the original authors.

Howard is the photographer and graphic artist, I compile the cvf`s using the Cab Editor.
Howard is at Barrow Hill, rarely opens PM`s, if you want a chat Jon contact me by PM or email.

Kindest regards
Ray

Hi Ray
I had to alter the cvf files...because I alter the eng files to drive more prototypically.
I don't use cab editor...I do all the alterations by hand then check them in the actual sim by driving.
The 16 seemed to tip the cab too far down-wards in my view.
Also I had to alter a lot of the gauges, to read correctly.
I made the other 4 cvf files for non Bin...as requested by people such as Pete who don't want to use the patch.
I'm not expecting an answer from Howard...he hasn't answered my PM dated 120806 yet.....shame.
If I don't get a response from Howard, I will re-upload 55022 aliased to the original Deltic cab view, with written instructions of how to alias it to Howards .....too many members have requested the skin, not to have it the library.

Cheers
Jon

PS If you want to get it right...you should alter the 640x 480 if your using 1024 graphics.

PPS Saved you a consist...as on principle I would imagine you've deleted it from your hard drive.

My measuring tool is ideal for correctly positioning cabs.

Move the red line to the drivers eye position and read off the numbers.

I'll get around to writing a tutorial someday.

Hi Ian
Maybe its just me...but cabviews don't always look right to me...even if they've been measured to the millimetre....I think its to do with the perspective of the ace file produced from the photo taken, or drawn from.
I think its similar to the problems builders get....they build from plans...but in the game it just don't look right.
Cheers
