Southeaster 4Cep 1615

Post by jamiebowey87 »

Just a few screenies of the latest project Ive been working on... Its the old 4Cep model available from UKTS with 1024 textures, faded paintwork and plenty of frosted windows!

I used the photo from page 66 of 'Slam doors on the Southern', shows unit 1615 two days before scrapping! Im sure SWT wouldnt be seen dead with a unit in that state coming off the Aldershot branch!

New life, Old Model, you've done a fantastic job there, I'd quite happily download that, extremely good.

I think the black on the front is a bit overdone but overall it's amazing to think that's the old model!

I thought that about the front but you should see the photo! Got a few minor issues - because I moved all the windows to the refurbished state the interior doesnt match up quite properly - The 1st class compartments in the DTSOs being most noticeable. No Idea how to fix that though, would have to start re-building the model!

Going to do a less weathered version in NSE, probably a greyhound for Dorset Coast, then have a go at doing a 412 with a Buffet to match tonight. Will also have a crack at putting the above in SWT clours, and I fully intend to do a 423 Vep to match as there isnt one available in SWT orange/red/blue!

Once the NSE units are ready Ill upload them as single download. Thanks very much for the kind words, really starting to enjoy re-skinning now! Any other feedback much appreciated as always!
