WHY do I like the old KUJU track textures??
I don't particularly, I just felt like playing Devil's Advocate....................anyway, the Kuju ones are MUCH better than those dreary dull Scotruck things...........can't see WHAT you see in them.......
I particularly like the way the earlier graphics cards create eye dazzling Moire patterns all over the Kuju ones............lovely............
TEE HEE....... (JOKE)

set of points at Lichfield TV
Have done Sutton Coldfield (see above) ,Sutton park, Shenstone, Lichfield City and Lichfield TV (now) Wednesbury almost done (to reduce object count on tile).
Will do Stafford and Armitage Junction next, also thinking of changes to Wychnor, am adding more scenery where possible.
Extensions could be Dudley tunnel, Albion, Gnosall or Tamworth or.........

That would get me mightily interested, as that's where I live, and it used to be one of the nicest stations on the line as wellBigant wrote:Good question, havent decided as atm am doing improvements to the existing route, just lost 5 days work due to a rogue117305 wrote:Looks good, where will the track be extended to on cc5

Don,
Yet more great work! I hope CC will be back soon as a UKTS CD, I've downloaded the route & some activities from the site, but the activities seem to need consists from previous CD editions so I've yet to run any of them & feel I'm missing out on something!
BTW, "Wichnor" is spelled with an "i" not a "y" in official railway publications (such as the Sectional Appendix) for some reason! Even though the name of the village is spelled with a "y".
Cheers,
Mick.

The railway has plenty of that. Penwithers Junction (where the Falmouth line diverges from the cornish main line near Truro) is near Penweathers.mickw wrote:Don,

Hi Mickw,
I did have some earlier activities posted for the Last CD version but as some of the stock was no longer available I have withdrawn them while I concentrate on some new activities. So keep practicing the shunting while work is in progress.

Mickrik,
After trying some of your activities for BCD2, shunting practice is something I really need! I took nearly 20 mins longer than the target to assemble my consist at Wichnor with "Rhyl" before setting of towards Wetmore, I still haven't really got the hang of vacuum brakes!
I guess that there's a trackside sign for "Wychnor Junction" from your earlier post, I'm sure that official railway publications spell it with an "i", I'll have to check when I'm back at work.....
Cheers,
Mickw

Hi Mickw
Wychnor
No sorry....it's a bit more basic than that... A signpost on the main A38. Wychnor is a few houses, a couple of farms and a Large Hotel/Leisure complex. I don't think it even has a public house. Bombadier transport is roughly on the spot where the sidings would have been. There are now some very large warehouses there owned by the likes of Argos on the land between the A38 and the Railway.
Wycnor I think will the northenmost point on Cannock Chase on that section of track
