It is such a shame that the cab is glowing away like its stage-lit.

BAs electrics do the same :(

Cabs at night are dark places.

Hi
You can use SFM to change the 'bright' textures to either normal or dark shadow.
I tend to do this on models I wish to drive in the dark, which have a night cab , and then call them night version or similar.
