I must say, that after working on the Highland Mainline CD project for a while, I am getting quiet taken by BR & diesels, so I quiet like these pics :P :roll:

I love this route its a pity the Glasgow, Fife & Dundee ends were not as well built up as the bit around auld reekie

Lovely Chris - happy memories of the push pull 27's battering out of Queen Street up to Cowlairs - a sound never to be repeated.

In the Winter was great if they where using the steam boiler and all that

steam ooozing out of those mk2
