And you havent really listened to peoples sugestions, such as different weather effects, different routes *cough* not Lyme Regis  etc...

Just curious, with your 3f images, how have you managed to get the arrow in the same place in all three shots? :-?

if you post shots like once a day with a bit more variety then people will appreciate your shots more but when you post shots every hour it gets a bit boring if you know what i mean almost as if youve picked a loco at random run down a route randomly tap print screen a couple of times and throw them up on this site

Just to add, can't you try some different angles as well. The majority of your shots are boring 2 views...

I take your point about my screenshots but I feel you have been a bit unkind about my activities on the forum. I don't think that you should really be so personal. I am only learning and trying to show my progress.

I would think of it as mean to say that your activities are boring, especially in an open forum for everyone to read.

Was there any need in posting a similar message 3 times

We are not trying to insult you, but you do post a lot of shots in a short space of time that look very similar, which is why some people are not interested, because they see it as "yet more shots", the routes you choose tend to use similar scenes, such as the cambrian shed ones, you have the locos so get them out running in other locations on that line
Get some snow and rain in your shots, yes i was a beginner once but i didnt repeat similar locations and scenes too much, ive seen you post, "this is **** from my activity" but ive never seen an activity from you on the download section :-?

I agree with Kieran, theres very little variety going on in here. Everything you post seems to be 'more of the same'...and as paul has said, its the same old '2 views'....try a good CamHack, get a few 'headout', 4 view and yard view shots....just please please, if we request variety, please add it.

You may be right about my boring shots, but there seems to be a dictatorial, superior, insulting attitude creeping in, which I thought wasn't in the spirit of the forums.

Here are some examples of what I mean by samey.

Image

Same time of day, almost the same shot position, almost the same consist, almost the same loco type, almost the same angles...heck you've even got the headlights on the same... now d'ya understand? ;);)

VERY Similar shots, within a short timescale....

Yes I do see and yes you are right, but it still seems superior, dictatorial and unkind of any of you to make such an issue of it. It is not in the spirit of the forums.

Now, now gentlemen, this is the screenshots forum.
Less of the posts more of the screenshots.
If I may make a suggestion, no-one is forcing you to view them.

Thankyou. My Dad said the same as you. I should listen to suggestions about my shots but not respond to being picked on. People do not have to view my efforts or be unkind to me about them, even if they are more expert than I am at doing screenshots.
