London & SouthEast - Cannon Street to Orpington service

Post by mfy1989 »

Hi there folks! Am a new forum member here, (although not new to Train Sim) and thought I would post a few pics of a journey from London Cannon St to Orpington for my first post. Hope you like and comments most welcome!

Minutes before departure, last minute passengers still rushing past the barriers!

A familiar sight on suburban services - running parallel with another train!

Pulling into New Cross (in true BR style we are running late)

Last service for this unit this evening, as we pull into sidings

Our train is seen pulling in from onboard a 4-CEP standing along side.

Thanks for looking!

I really like
"Pulling into New Cross (in true BR style we are running late)"

Nice shot that and my forum name is based on my pitiful efforts to maintain activity timetables :) , although my wife would have it as an explanation of my life   .

heh heh thanks for the nice comments guys :D

Glad ya liked the New Cross pic Geoff, it's good to find someone else who's perpetually bad at keeping to timetables! (at least in a uk train sim that's realistic tho )

If I'm honest I'm not completely new to screenshots as I've been posting shots of Flight Simulator for some years, but I'm brand new to posting shots of Trainsim and it's a completely different ballgame!

The one you say is at New Cross is actually Lewisham (the other side of St John's) Nice pics though!

I got my copy from PC world, but only cos I was impatient and wanted it straight away! It's a really good route, but I wish someone would make the line all the way down to Hastings as this is my home line!
