Might want to change them Jon
sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but they only carried one number on the drivers side of the loco either side
if that makes sense
otherwise top stuff

Hi Jon
Thanks. :P
But actually some had numbers both ends..........I've checked.
I'll agree, I've not correctly bothered to do the actual locos concerned though.
I think Class 50s proberbly carried more slight variation of liveries than nearly all the other diesels, apart from class47s maybe.

Jon is quite correct about the numbers. It was very much a LMR thing to have the numbers in all four corners which was changed once on the WR either after a repaint or a works visit.
I would guess that the diesels that carried the most minor detail differences in numbers and arrows etc were the proper Warships (Class 42/43).

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul
Thanks :P ..........I think it possibly was when they were first transferred.
I know there was one which didn't have double arrows at all...can't remember which though.
Unfortunately I'm too young (just) to remember the Swindon Warships working on BR.

Couple more this evening
