Very good shots. BVE can do very beautiful things, like msts.
And the sounds are fantastics. A very good simulator!

Anyone got the link to their sight?

I had it ages ago and never bothered. With work of that quality I'll give it a go. It's obviously progressed as much as MSTS has.

Is it all still free?

Have a read of the BVE 4 editorial on the front page of the site, full details in there :)

 Thanks Matt, I glossed over the Editorials as I thought there'd been a review.

Just out of interest (this'll be obvious to those who have it) are routes from all versions compatible with the latest version? and I seem to remember reading that the trains sway around realistically on the track?

Heading for the download site anyway.

Cheers

Geoff,

If the route file is an .rw, then no. However, Coxster's site has a link to update .rw to .csv (see http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk BVE section) :)

Cheers Thomas. I'm downloading tons of stuff. It's light years away from when I last looked at it and after MSTS I keep double checking that the files really are that small! Glanced at loads of "How to..." and Tutorial files which is good and of course bothered to look at the BVE forum here. Only trouble is it's SWMBO's day off and I told here I had the bookeeping to do.

Quite a bit of "Alt+Tab" going on at the moment
