They can't be downloaded, they are a repaint by a friend which have not been released due to the current climate and are only in my personal library. I will not disclose this users name to prevent lots of 'Please release it' messages. I shall be releasing the patch for the nameplates (will replace the file already online) this weekend and I hope to work on upgrading the textures on the existing locomotives to 1024 in the future to increase the quality of the texture beneath the nameplates.

Thanks for the kind words about the screenshots as well :-)

I would love to but I didn't paint the locomotive. All I did was create a new shape file to go on the sides. You need to speak to Alex Fairlie who created textures for this model.

I may be tempted to update the loco to 1024 textures if I get time in January if no-one else wants to take a crack at it before me.

The buffer texture is actually taken from 37411 when it was just released from Toton.

Well there you go. If you use the nameplates it's not entirely accurate but accurate enough to pass, if you don't like it, you know what to do, either don't download it, download it and update it for your own personal use, or create your own and upload it here...

Sorry to be blunt but all you get these days in here is people congratulating with one hand and slapping you with the other.

...which is not the sort of attitude that the moderation team like seeing. But we get even more grief when trying to pursuade individuals to be less aggresive. Why can't people just get on?

No replies, please...I was just thinking aloud. :o

Not a reply, just thinking aloud...

I was a little agressive with my last post and I appologise for it. I know a lot of people have liked the model and I have accepted a lot of constructive critism for it as well. I did not intend to sound off in such a way.

Back onto normal topic ...

If I do find the time to upgrade the texture to 1024 I will endeavour to make it look a little more 'worn', especially around the engine grills, roof, front and buffers.

Hope this helps.

That'd be fantatic - I love these re-skins!
