Emmm EM1s those where the days! I used to watch them running past me Grans house when I was a kid. Top pics there! you should have posted them in the atmosphere thread!

It's Woodhead with the unique 1500v DC EM1 and EM2 electric locos.

Now that takes me back to my youth :) How about a few shots at Ashton Moss? now that would make my day :)

I was about to say the same thing my grans house was opposite the line as well - Just east of Darnall station - ah memories

Hi Chris

Reminds me of my cycling days!! - I cycled many times from Bradford up the A6024 from Holmfirth and down the other side to Glossop on my way to Buxton etc etc.

I just loved seeing those EM1's pulling Wagons & Coaches particularly as they passed alongside the Torside Reservoir as I continued on my way on the B6105.

It was a lot easier when I purchased my Lambretta LD150 scooter!!

8) Nice to see my old and some of my very very old MSTS EM1`s still getting around :D

Mee old ones look very sad by today`s standards

my latest EM1`s have LOD`s ect .

Time passes us all by even in the MSTS virtual world !
