Still WIP, but owing to the high tile object count (currently 1100), I probably won't be adding too much additional detail to this location. I'll take a shot or two of the station tonight so that you can see Richard's excellent work.

Nice work chaps. It'll be great to thrash a Manor over Talerdigg. Hope the gradients are spot on :)

More screenshots as promised. We're aiming for the end of the year for Cambrian 2, but being realistic it will probably be the start of 2006 by the time the rolling stock, cabs and activities are finished.

:o very shrewsbury isnt it, right atmosphere, buttermarkets spot on platform 1 and 2 was double track out and onto the main. single line went to Gay Meadow Carriage siding.

oh and wheres the loop.

Other than that shrewsbury is really spot on the town really does look the part. and the dog leg in the platform really stands out never seen a proper photograph of that as a 47 demolished it in 1964.

all you need now is the footbridge between 1 and 7 which is why the dog leg was originally in 3 and fitted nicley a snuggly infront of the water tower.

As I've probably mentioned before, I've had to compromise quite a bit with the track in order to fit everything in. I'm aware that the platform 1/2 track is wrong, but couldn't do any different if I was to connect to the mainline before the right hand bend out of the station. The other thing that you'll notice when you drive the route is that the triangular junction is too big, owing to the size of the default MSTS points.

Richard and I discussed the footbridge, but weren't sure exactly when it was removed. For that matter, I'm not sure that I've seen a good photo of it. In fact there was quite a bit of guesswork involved in a few aspects of this station, so I'm very pleased that we seem to have got it about right.

Of course Shrewsbury is only the beginning. If you've got a spare evening, you can now drive all the way to either Aberystwyth or Pwllheli. :D
