If I'm not mistaken, that 37 is just about to pass under the A9 on the climb to Slochd from Carrbridge! Fantastic capture of the route there!

Fantastic Addition to MSTS... though first teething problem

Post by 37180sirdyfed »

Fristly, Congratulations on making a great new modern route!!
I've download all 16 files and I'm successful in loading up the route.
I've started exploring the route from Perth, but soon after leaving the station I get a "white out" on the landscape and then the game crashes. Have I missed something?

That whiteout could be a msts bug which one or two Routes suffer from

I could be wrong i have not drove the Full route yet,You could run the

Install me bat file and see if that works or

Start again and reinstall the whole Route ,see if that works

Ive downloaded the Route and it crashed the 1st time, i missed a download out,So

I deleted Highland main folder and start again and read the Read me again

And now it Works, just got to do some paths now to so i can Thrash a class

40 up the Highland main line with 16 Mk1's just like in the old Days

Well done to John Melia (jpantera)

MARTIN :D

PS,see if anyone else has the whiteout problem,I hope not

Welcome Gareth. What you need to do is make some new paths.

Got it sorted by just deleting the route and starting over again. So far have driven up to Dalmenie from Perth... scenery is stunning!! I have made a modern day activity from Perth to Inverness with just six traffic services. The first service is an HST service from I'ness to Perth. It takes 8 hours for it to travel from I'ness to Perth!!! Is there anything that can be done to speed up the AI traffic, rather than starting the services from further down the route to enable them to run more on time? I read somewhere on the forum that it's due to a MSTS bug. :o

You have probably started the train in a low speed restriction.

A bug means that an AI train will stick to the same speed all the way.

Start it in an unrestricted area.
