Nice shots, but what do the tankside initials stand for? I'm guessing that the 'GN' part is 'Great Northern', but what are the other three letters? :-?

I thought that it stood for Great Northern & Southern Railway, so that the Railway Children could placed anywhere in the UK (and not advertise a railway company  ).

GNSR was a real life company, the Great North Of Scotland Railway.

GN&OSR was a fictional company, the Great North & South Railway.
