the last time i went to weymouth was about a year ago and the track was still there intact right up to the mainline station. May perhapes when the sailing happens at weymouth at the 2012 Olympics the railway will be put back into use???? lets hope so 8) :fadein:

The Olympics sailing will actually be based out of Portland harbour; perhaps they'll put that branch back instead.

On the subject of animated Quay features, I would guess you could use the hazard feature with a car instead of deer on the track so that a blast from the train horn would cause it to move off the track. There's a great tutorial over at the steam4me site giving imaginative uses for this largely forgotten feature of MSTS.

Without giving too much away, we have got some Olympics related activities on the Dorset Coast CD.

Also the railmen shown in Gary Cox's excellent screenshots, are also on the CD.
