Absolutely brilliant - A real credit to you & Jon - Can't wait for the CD.

I used to live in Todmorden & Bradford and when I was travelling before retiring I used to stay with Relatives in Halifax as I was doing business in Manchester so this Route means an awful lot to me bringing back many happy memories.

You have really captured all my memories with these great improvements.

Congratulations Gary, as someone who used to use the line a lot before I moved to south wales and just the scenery reminds me what I'm missing.

Two issues......
WALSDEN - Is this a GMPTE or WYPTE??? I always throught Littleborough was the GMPTE boundry.

The large BR totem pole - this is VERY high and the texture is not 'perfect' it looks a little rough. If you would like i can rebuild this for you with a new texture and send back to you for inclusion in the route.

The GMPTE station signs should only have the regional railways blue/white bands on the right hand side. The left hand side should be white underneath the GMPTE logo with GMPTE lettering (Garmond is the closest I have found to the GMPTE font) in the place where the blue band would be.

Apart from these little niggly things it looks really good. I also have a registered version of the Click Team Installer Pro software so if you want some help for packaging it for download (including RR batch files and the compressed executable) feel free to PM me.

It looks great. I have a video about the line from Manchester to Bradford. It is called 'In Stephenson's Tracks - Manchester - Bradford' and is produced by Castle somthing-or-other. The case is a purply-pink colour.

Superb scenery. You can almost "Feel" the atmosphere. Lovely Loweriesque views.

By the way, the last post of mine in hindsight appears to be quite negative. This was not the intention and I do think it is wonderfull upgrade from what has been seen!

It is just a shame i doubt it could be added to the metrolink route, along with ELR, TM4, NWEv2, Woodhead ...... We have most of the North West on MSTS now. Just not in one route - which is probabbly a good thing based on the siex of TM alone!

I'll be comparing the stations from Hebden Bridge to New Pudsey on Saturday when I catch the train from Blackburn to Leeds to see if you've done a good job or not Nah, they look good from what you've shown in the screenies Well done.

Wow, that's a huge improvement on the original release of the route Jon. Manchester Victoria especially looks far more realistic, and if you can get the Leeds bit looking good too, its shaping up to be a fantastic route, with plenty of scope for activities.

Having travelled past a few of these stations at the weekend... I'm sure Hebden Bridge platforms aren't opposite to each other Apart from that, looks good

just a few minor issues like the layout at rochdale and the position of the platforms at hebden. looking good though is this based on any particular timeline?

Before people start criticising the track layout at particular stations, or whether the platforms are in the right position, can they consider that this was an early freeware route that Jon and Coxy have added scenery to that had been left off the original? If I recall correctly the route was done before a lot of the improved track options were available, and used default track. Default track doesn't allow for all possible track layouts to be replicated - in fact, some of the improved track sections available with replacement or add on track systems can't fully replicate all track layouts. It is a simulation game, not an accurate driver-training aid or engineering simulation after all.

If Jon and Gary were to try and move stations or remodel the track work of the existing route it would cause all sorts of problems and complications with the stability and the track database, as I know having only deleted stations and sidings from an existing route (Balahub) to create Ballyshannon, without having added any track pieces. Let's cut them some slack and enjoy what was always a nice route in it's previous guise and what looks like becoming a very nice and handy little route with the added scenery and finishing. I'd personally rather have something that carries the atmosphere and has a few slight inaccuracies than lose the whole thing because rebuilding stations and track causes the whole route to crash and leads to a frustrated abandonment of the project.

looks like they've rebuilt the TDB anyway mark that track is completely different to the last lot they used when it was first released.

As you have already pointed out, this is just a finishing off project which Jon started and I have progressed further.
I think the only modifications I have made to the Track Layout is to extend the Platforms at Bradford to allow Run Round Operations.

The Track looks different because it is a different Track Texture from the Original.

This is my first serious play in the Route Editor, and has been something of a learning curve, with it's own Stress Levels.
All I have set out to do is improve on and finish what was originally started by the Original Author and Jon Bilton.

As I live in East Anglia it is hard for me to make Field Trips to Research the Route.
I do appreciate the feedback I have received about the GMPTE Signs
and GMPTE Boundry which has now been corrected.
I am sorry that some Track Layouts and Stations will not be 100% accurate, but My Hands are Tied!!!

I must also point out that if I get the authority from the Original Author and the People whose Downloaded Objects from UKTRAINSIM I have used in The Route for it to be available as a CD purchase from UKTRAINSIM, some items will either be removed or substituted for alternatives as they stem from Commercial Products and would infringe Copyright.
However this will not take away any of the atmosphere from the Route.
