Went on a research trip to the Lyme Regis line yesterday, and apart from the mud it was very enjoyable. Here are some of the pics I took, and comparison pics from my route - while the terrain doesn't match up exactly at the moment, this will be dealt with in due course. Hope you like them.

This is my first view of Cannington, and it took my breath away (even if the concrete is starting to look a bit tricorn-esque

Cannington Viaduct is still as impressive as ever, however once again undergrowth has taken over (the deck is covered in bushes and trees as well) Yes, I did scramble up the side of the hill, unfortunately I didn't realise the railway cutting had been infilled and I climbed right to the top

A farm track has used the high embankment for access to the top of the hill (he also uses the bridge underneath as well
