Grand Central 158 & 67+MK3+DVT Ready!

Post by ntanswell »

Ive finally embarked on my first proper reskin. Its a Grand Central 158 as shown on http://www.grandcentralrail.co.uk for their proposed cross-pennine service. It is my first reskin and is still work in progress (the centre car needs doing and some of the doors need to be painted blue instead of gold, the coach numbers also need adding).

It will be uploaded if i can get permission from Anton (backfoot2002) to use his 158 front end texture. I am planning to do the 67+mk3+DVT set they have on there too. Feedback will be very much appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks. Its coming on nicely now and its almost finished :D . The Centre coach has been done and the doors are now the right colour. The buffet has also been done. The only issue that needs to be sorted is the alpha channel which is a bit wonky in places :-? .

Does it have wheels? I can't make them out and I remember someone elses wheels disappearing when they reskinned a unit.

Yes the wheels are still there is just you can't see them very well in that shot.

The MK3 is also coming along nicely.

If you've got permissions off everyone who's various things you've used, then you're ready to upload to UKTS.
