Hi
Seeing as I'm having a Manchester week.......due to the fantastic T-MV4 being released....I re-installed the Caldervale route...thought I'd have a play ...as its an early release.
Dont think I'll ever make a route builder (or alterer)...just took me 45 minutes to get the canopy looking nearly right.
The canopy was built by the very skilled modeller Dave Pascoe. :P
The 104 Unit by Simon Barnes of course. :P

Very nice, a pretty good representation of the place pre-MEN arena when it was far more atmospheric. Now it is a smokey dark and dingy place which I use most days and fondly remeber before they wrecked the place by putting a large arena on top of it!

From the readme.

Free to good home...

Unfinished model due to cancelled project.

St. Pancras Station trainshed

Arguably one of the railway wonders of the Victorian age, a beautiful steel structure designed by William Henry Barlow and built by the Butterley Iron Company

Includes draft textures for the steel and glass only

Will require work to finish properly, and, of course, Sir Gilbert Scott's Midland Grand Hotel to put on the front of it!

I'd love to see this finished and in place on the Midland Main line.

If anyone runs with it, please let me know how you get on!

Peter

The original station was a sad loss.
