Bit premature isn't it? First Group haven't won the bidding process for the East Coast franchise yet!

Only kidding, those screenshots are looking really nice I particularly like the first one of Kings Cross

Co-incidentally, First Group's bid has had a look in. Not suprisingly, First Group are stunned.

GNER really do need to win the East Coast franchise, it'll be a shame if they don't.

Also, it might be better if in the shots, you didnt have the Framerates or cab controls, IE : "Headlight (Dim)". Wait till they go, then take the shot

I personally, dont really mind who gets it. Virgin would be my preffered though, as I am keen to see their High Speed Route, and it would fit in with Virgin having East and West Coast lines, and no more Cross Country. It would also help the SRA get the number of TOCs down

For me, GNER should win it

. The reason why is because of what they've done for it. I think Virgin should have gone to Competition Commision, as they would run all daytime Anglo-Scottish services.

That would make it unfair.

GNER are a better TOC than Virgin (and First), so surely they should run it? I agree that one operator running ECML and WCML makes sense, it would be better if they gave GNER the West Coast though rather than Virgin the ECML.
