North Kent Coast: Early progress shots.

Here's a few progress shots of my 'North Kent' route, from Margate, to Gillingham, Chatham and Hoo Junction.

It's a consist i found on the Thames mersey CD, the wagons are marked up as the Sheppy steel company i think.

"Sheerness Steel" JXA wagons if they are the ones from TM - very appropriate for North Kent.

This at a guess is a teaser as i think the route is well under construction.
Could you tell us how far along you actually are?

The route itself stretches from Strood to Faversham, then branches off to Margate. The track is 99% complete (just got to add in a few cross overs etc) A few sections of scenary are done. It'll be a while before its finish, but good progress is being made.

The final part of track laying from Strood to Just east of Gravesend was finished today. This section included the Hoo Junction complex, so here's a few shots for the first train.

are you still only going to hoo junction or not? or gonna go all the way to gravesend? (please say ur going to gravesend! lol)

looks ace, will be strange going through strood tunnel again, has been a while...
