Sharpen up the whole texture and I'm sure it'll look great :)

Need to sharpen up the textures, so they all match. Got some soft/noise filtered ones mixed with solid colour. Remember, you cant make window frames with the 'layer effects'. You need to create the frame itself. Good start though :)

All i did for the windows was copy and paste the alpha channel and stroke it.

Your still using a hefty amount of 'noise' on those textures. Looks very odd. As for the windows....thats my point. Your using a layer effect to create the windows, which again looks very odd. Try making the window frames themselves it will look much more realistic.

1. I used noise to make it look more photgraphic/releasitic.
2. I am not actually sure how to make the window frames themselves.

Please help :)

Thanks, nick

Ive competely redone the front of the train using Steven Weller's original 156 front texture. Personally i think it looks cripser. As Adam/Lucazone said i shouldnt use noise :(. So im going to work through my skin again and do it all again.

I dont think there is anything wrong with a bit of noise.

But it needs to be a pretty small amount.

I tend to stick on level 4 for noise when I use it, max I would use myself is 7 but thats rare.
