Love the leaking steam Jon - how did you manage that? Btw, which route is that - looks like Bala?
Lost your love of life? Too much apple pie!

Have a look at my pics at http://alisterbetts.fotopic.net/

Perfect :) A little before my time with the wooden vans, usually just BG's whenever I was there. Steam looks great. The more the better. Is it possible to get the steam leaking between every coach?

Hi
Yes the route is actually BallyShannon.......but I think that section looks wild enough to be West Highland?.
The leaking steam is a conversion of the leaking van by BraveDan....basically its a steamengine....with a different shape.
So I dont know would happen if you did to all the coaches.
Changeable weather........that'll be the UK then.

Wow they're great, sadly I'm not old enough to remember much of the BR blue days, just DMU's where I could watch the driver and Blue/Grey HSTs for some reason. My idea of the Scotish Highlands is a pair of 156's, quite a contrast. Great pics thanks!

Those Mk1s are very nice too, like the dulled colours - are these your own weathering of the BA ones?

Hi
Not my own weathering I'm afraid...they're the Original re-skinned BATS ones...which unfortunately were replaced.
I liked them....so I renamed them so I could have both these and the later more brightly exworks coaches.

Hi Phil
Made an invisible steam engine....and put it between every coach....seems to work

Hi
These are re-skinned (quickly) of the BA blue CCT....because I couldn't find what I wanted on UKTS.
But the same wagon ( in green) is available for download from

Lovely pics, Jon - for one moment I thought that Vern had been very hard at work in top secret on that extension to his Far North Line... perhaps if we all club together and bribe him with large amounts of money, fresh fish in the harbour at Kyle, and the promise of ever-leaking steam from Mark 1 SK's...?
