My moneys on just south of Leicester, but its only a guess, after all does Leicester have any buildings like that one in the background?

Nah, not Leicester. I like the way the sun is 'reflecting' off the tower block, I assume that's been done post prodution? :)

That picture has been done extreamly well! It does look like a photo, but one thing that gives it away, the trees :(
Take the tree's out and people will be umming and arring on weather its a picture or photo.

I'd say the ground texture is the biggest giveaway - it makes the fence stand out too much

Trees look fine to me, but since when did you see a field wearing Temperate Urban Camo?

some of the ground textures in MSTS arny exactly photo realistic, are they? ;)

They look good from a distance or if you glance at them quickly from a moving train but close inspection reveals how basic they are. Until we get the 3rd generation of train sims and much quicker PCs which allow standing grass effects out to the horizon nothing will compensate for good old long grass in all it's 3D glory.

It's still a brilliant picture though.
