The route fans out from Scarborough and ends at Kettleness on the Scarborough - Middlesborough line, Just before Malton on the Mainline to York and has just made it to Bridlington on the line to Hull, It covers everything within that area such as the Forge Valley and NYMR. Junctions with other lines such as the Esk Valley, Pickering - Picton are inplace with short spurs branching off. John's done a fantastic job and we're putting together activities and stock with appropriate sound files and cabs. It will be well worth waiting for :D

If only we could get the tracklaying machine onto the real track bed - it's nearly all there still and was terraformed along time ago!

This is the YCR details screen that shows the route coverage staight from the original NER route diagram displayed at most stations.

The coverage is pretty much what is displayed here.

You can also see what the gradients are like on the Scarborough-Whitby coast line!

It is if you try cycling it!

It's gradually expanding in all directions but needs a lot of research to make it as accurate as possible. And that's before scenery is added to those sections!

Hi this is looking great! I notice that some engines did get built for this route after all. Do you know if anybody is planning to do an H1 to go with the CD? would be nice quirky loco!

All of the H1's were rebuilt as A8's between 1931 and 1936. There will be A8's on the CD, including an LNER liveried version which is how the A8's would have looked as H1's.

Some screenies from a Blue & Grey period Activity. This is based around a DMU substitution service using a CL24 and a couple of MK1's.

Cl03 shunts as CL31 passes through with tanks service.
