156410 - Central Trains New Livery

Post by MeridianNick »

I thought whilst it's wating for approval to show a few screenshots of my reskin of Ben Laws 156 model. The screenshots are taken around Lincoln on MidEast UK.

156410 departs from Lincoln with a train for Nottingham

A view of the back of it heading toward the High Street Level Crossing

The 156 on the outskirts of Lincoln

My Personal favourite shot, as we see the 156 disappear into the background.

I know it's not much, and they are quite compressed. But hopefully tommorow you will be able to see the model on your own system.

I know this is rivet counting to the extreme, but shouldn't one of the high intensity headlights be on? they only have both the little ones on and no H-I when shunting around depots. Or does that happen when you turn the lights on/up?

edit: that sounds a bit picky to me, looks ace anyway :D

Hey,

Well the reason I didn't have them on is because when they are this happens (happens to most of the msts models I use :-? ):

Anyways, the interior :

Don't be too critical, it's a rough guess of what I remember it to look like

The interior isnt too bad. But wheres the chewing gum/semen/rat dropping stains customary to o so many of Central's units?
Also, as a factual pont, if anyone knows it, did that unit ever had the refurbed lights as fitted to Central's mock RR liveried 156 fleet, or were they just removed when it was painted that horrible colour? Nice reskin

[joke]Photo-Realistic[/joke] Chewing gum and staines will be added to the tables with the interior seats to also have similar staines. This will be on the next version to appear in about a months time

Just out of interest 156410 was involved in a derailment at matlock bath where it actually hit a tunnel wall and had to rebuild one side of the cab.

If you look closley at this unit at one end it has two tones of yellow, will this be included as it is meant to be 156410 that you are creating?

Didn't know that, the model is based on what it looked in Novemeber 2002, lol.

Any other Central 156 new livery anyone wants (request the number!) and I'll re-number next upload

btw, it's now uploaded!
