I guess that most of you are concentrating on the new section from Crewe down to Euston, which in it's own right is a fantastic new experience - but there is a LOT more to be discovered.
When Dave brought me on board as Chief Tester after the release of V2 and before V3 started, I did fairly exhaustive testing of all the track and scenery in what was then the current V1 and V2. I sent many extensive reports to Dave, not only identifying corrections for some minor problems, but also suggesting additions and improvements. To my initial surprise, Dave took all these on board, and incorporated them into the new V3.
For example, Edge Hill, Wavertree, Speke Junction, Chester and Crewe have had substantial makeovers - all the lines north of Liverpool, had minimal goods facilities, now just about every station has goods facilities - the Aintree gridiron and the Fazakerley sidings are now added - Southport was extensively revised - all the locomotive depots in this area were added (incidentaly, all LMS steam locomotive depots in the route have been based on authentic LMS track plans dating from the 30's, 40's and 50's, within the limitations of MSTS) - the missing stations from Crewe to Chester were added - I could go on and on about the changes !!!
So if you are even remotely familiar with the areas contained in V1 and V2, take some time to come back and investigate these older areas too, there are very extensive revisions all through the V1/V2 areas. I think you will quite like what you find in here.

I really want T-M, but I doubt TS can handle it! I would have to download the entire route selection up to the latest (500MB of downloads ). What space would it take on my HDD fully unzipped?

On my system:-
From a standing start - 185Mb download
Total disk consumption - 687Mb, 9769 Files
The downloads weren't too bad as I was getting over 215kb/s over the Works T1 line on Monday
