Not a msts screenshot, but thought you may all like to see it :)

managed to get down to Dawlish sea wall earlier today, was great to see her out on the mainline :),
running well too, 7 on i think and looking very much on the upper end of the 75mph limit :) great sight.

Indeed. When my aunt lived in Dawlish I loved hearing all the HSTs powering from the station, and scream past the sea wall and cliffs.

lol, yea it was beautiful weather as she came into St Davids, but as you say about 5 mins after the thunder and lightning rolled over and there was a really heavy downpour :/, was alittle annoying not being able to get close to the loco, but the pics from the level crossing more than made up for that :D

I will post a couple of pics later but what a run she had yesterday (Monday) I was on the train from Kingswear to Bristol. It was a perfect run the engine looked fantastic and was totally in control of its 7 coach train. The exeleration from a stand was very impressive and we could quickly get up to the 60mph+ mark from each stop with steam pressure to spare. Of course it didn't get anywhere near the 100 mph but it was a very lively performance timed at 69 mph down the Whitehall bank. There is no doubt in my mind that it could have gone a lot faster, she was just purring along.

What a day to remember! riding behind a steam engine that 100 years ago (plus 1 day) did a similar journey. Fantastic! the NRM did a superb restoration job on her. The paint finish is great and very accurate in terms of the lining not only on the green bits but all around the indian red frames etc.

*collapses with jealousy* lol ;)

Indeed though, its been beautifully done, and she looks and sounds in great shape, as i say the departure from St Davids was rather impressive :),

lol, aye i saw the train fly past Dawlish Robin, i dont know what speed she was doing, but it didnt seem to be taxing her very much.

It really is a shame about the 60mph speed restriction - not much "thrash" (if that's what the kettle peeps call it?) from her at all on the saturday :( Whiteball (the up) was impressive though, I must say..

It isnt just her though - any loco (including diesel) using that braking system will be subject to the same restrictions.

What date was the 100mph+ run by the way?

9th May 1904 Engineering works meant that there could be no run on the actual day.
