If you have a point to make, you should make it. It would appear that you don't like the idea that someone else has done the model? At the end of the day, if people like what is done they will download it, ifthey don't, they won't. Garys models have always been welcome as they are of very good quality. The screenshots shown were beta work in progress and they have been considerably updated, using prototypical shots that I have supplied to him. I also posted a couple of sample pics on your thread but you didn't bother to update the loco with the info provided so it is hardly surprising that someone else would make the effort to do the detailing properly.

Also, being a free market, if the author has given his permission to paint the loco then there is nothing wrong with it being posted. Just because Tesco's supply oranges, doesn't mean Sainsburys can't. Especially as the Sainsburys crop might be of better quality if their producers have taken their time to make sure the crop is the best available!

well said, nice way to put it too

Hi,

Lovely model. For reference, I finally saw 67005 at Kings X yesterday, and photos of it showing all required details are on my website:

Cheers LucaZone,

Would you believe that is only about 3 hours worth - 1 hour in the morning at Euston/Kings Cross, and 2 hours trying to pick off my last remaining 87's out of Euston!

Hi Jon,

Not bad mate. Keeping up with the goings on down at Maritime, and still waiting a visit from the fabled large logo 47847, after finally getting 57009 after only 2 years of visits...

Got my tickets booked (despite the other halfs insistence that £50 was too much to spend on a train!) for the Grid Twilight tour, and definately looking forward to the 27th for the Sarum Grid tour... Then we get the annual Mid-Hants thrash day in May - looks like being a good year!

Drop me a mail via the website if you are going to be around Maritime or anywhere on a Saturday - same applies to anyone else in the area.

Regards,

James Mayl

‘one on here’ did you mean UKTRAIN sim website or not?
