Back in the days when I was a humble newbie, there wasn't the huge choice of routes now available. The first route I ever downloaded was Steve Nickel's Superb "Woodhead V2". I enjoyed the route a lot, but as time passed and more routes became available, it was pushed off my system. Today, over a year later, I was looking through my backups and discovered Woodhead again. The question was, had it stood the test of time? Would it still be just as good as newer routes such as Bluearrow TS’ “Seven Valley Railwayâ€

( whats wrong with your Cabview shot you have no needles horn or levers ect ? )

Think I've lost a few ace files :lol:

Didn't matter though, don't spend a lot of time in the cab (more of a photographer than a driver me 8))

those are some dam good shots, though the blur effct is a bit extreme in some. going from dead sharp to deaed blurred very quickly :(

You create a very special MSTS atmosphere in the way you tell the story , very very nice thanks .

if theres a Locomotive ive built in the picture it works for me :D

Geat route Woodhead. Will be even better when Steve Releaeses V3 with DEMed Terrain and authentic steep gradients.............

Quite agree, I used the track texture from Skipton - Carlisle which gives a narrower railhead appearance, and changed the station signs east of Woodhead to ER dark blue - even more atmosphere! Can't wait for the new version.
