Hello. This is the thread where I'll be posting all of my screenshots of the route, as they are done.
Yes, believe it or not, I've actually something done!
Here is the link to the first ever screenshot of Project H2P:

(Oh, and don't ask why the poll is there. I guess it is just to gather an idea of people interested.)

Yes, well that is because I need to create the marker file (why I haven't yet I don't know), and download UKFS for track laying.
Better screenshots will be done once these are complete.

Hi all
Nice One...So how much does the DEM cover so far on the route?

The DEM should cover the entire route. A lot of it is fairly flat mind.

Hi all
Wouldn't worry about that! If I got DEM data for doncaster, you wouldn't notice anything

Well I tried to download the information pack and got a empty zip file
I know it is not my internet connection since I tried through work (firewall in the USA) and home - thus giving 2 completely different access paths.
Somewhat underwhelmed by that.

Seems it's not just the H2P info pack affected, Just tried downloading something else and that came back empty.
So I apologise and await a solution to be found.

Hmm, that is most peculiar. I'll attempt to download it and see.
I'll be back later with a response.

'The 10.13 Freat Great Western service has been cancelled due lack of track. Bus replacements will be provided.'
Good luck with it. If you can match the quality of the DEM with accurate gradients etc you are on a winner

Hello all.
Sorry about the lateness of my post here. I've been away from PCs for a few days, and was majorly busy yesterday with 43 filming...
I'll try re-uploading it later today. I've got a lot of new posts to view first. It'll be uploaded by 2000.
